- Review general design detailing to eliminate complex construction details in order to increase on site efficiency and minimise post completion defects
- Consider internal & external material choices
- Offer alternative commercially viable material choices (alternative products will be “tried and tested” and supplied in accordance with relevant performance specification and British Standard)

Design Development (Design & Build or Partnering)
Site Procedure
- Installations completed in accordance with the relevant trade bodies recommendations
- Test and check all installations in accordance with pre-determined check lists (undertaken and 1st and 2nd fix stages signed and recorded by individual sub-contractors)
Completion Process
- Individual trade certification and sign off works again using pre-determined lists
- Westpoint Construction Site Manager signs off all sub-contractor works in pre-agreed format
- Westpoint Construction Customer Care signs off all works in pre-agreed format
Handover
- Issue instruction / operation manuals / N.H.B.C. documentation to Client
- Review pre-agreed checklist with Client to confirm that property completed to required standards
- Any defects recorded on S1 form and entered into Oxygen bespoke software system (Oxygen will effectively manage the defect
management process)
- Remedials undertaken at a date agreed with the Client
Post Handover
- After 28 days contact Client to enquire if any defects have arisen
- Any defects recorded on S2 form and entered into Oxygen bespoke software system
- Remedials undertaken at a date agreed with the Client
- After 1 year contact Client to enquire if any defects have arisen
- Any defects recorded on S3 form and entered into Oxygen bespoke software system
- Remedials undertaken at a date agreed with the Client
